Twenty-Sixth Annual Black Writers On Tour +Tech Expo—All Under One Roof.

Dr. Rosie Milligan brings the largest Black cultural event for Southern California—Black Writers On Tour + Tech Expo under one roof—Embracing Technology—it’s a Virtual (Zoom) Event. You will learn “THE NEW WAY OF DOING BUSINESS POST COVID-19”. This powerful, one-day event will be on Saturday, April 30, 2022, from 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Meet authors discussing their writing journey from across the country. My Tech Academy is partnering with BWOT. The theme for 2022 is “Literacy is Everybody’s Business—Literacy + Technology Changes Lives.”

 The conference will be more dynamic than ever. The renowned Dr. Claud Anderson will be the keynote speaker—Topic: A Parachute For Black America.” This is a free event, and all seminars and workshops are free. Participants will learn how we intertwine tech and literacy in the 21st century. Youth and adults will learn about opportunities in the technology sector. The COVID-19 pandemic heightened our awareness of how far behind African Americans are in technology.

 

There will be a panelist of authors, displaying their products and services. Writers will learn how technology can enhance their literary works. COVID-19 shut-down increased readership for all age group. Writers must seize the moment.

 

Black Writers On Tour and Tech Expo connect writers with readers. There will be workshops and seminars for writers/aspiring writers, business owners, aspiring entrepreneurs and for the public. You will meet and greet authors from across the country.
