By accessing Black Writers On Tour (BWOT) website (www.blackwritersontour.com) and registering for events, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
1. General Use
The website provides information about the Black Writers On Tour Conference, Business & Tech Expo. All content (logos, graphics, text) is intellectual property of BWOT and requires written permission for use.
2. Event Registration & Payments
Accuracy:
Provide accurate and complete registration information for authors, vendors, or attendees.
Payment:
Full payment is required to secure event placement.
Refund Policy:
Registrations are final and non-refundable. Review event details carefully before registering.
3. Vendor & Author Participation
Vendors and authors are responsible for their own promotional materials and equipment unless otherwise specified. BWOT reserves the right to remove vendors with inappropriate or mission-inconsistent materials.
4. Limitation of Liability
BWOT, its organizers, and the Carson Community Center are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged property during face-to-face events. Participation by attendees and vendors is at their own risk.
5. Media Release
By attending, you grant BWOT permission to use your image and likeness in promotional materials, social media, and website galleries where photography and video recording occurs.
6. Changes to Events
BWOT reserves the right to modify schedules, speakers, or venues due to unforeseen circumstances.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
